If you want to take your workout to the next level and build solid muscle then, in my opinion, the Torroband is can do exactly that. It’s considered an “all-in-one training device” that hits all your muscle groups, in either indoor or outdoor environments, without the need for any expensive and bulky equipment.

The Torroband has surprised me in many ways: it’s solid, durable, and versatile while coming in at a reasonable price point. I’ve owned many resistance bands in the past and the quality of the Torroband clearly ranks among the top of the pile, especially the handles, which fit comfortably in my hands and are resistant to slipping.

After doing a few reps, I already felt my muscles being activated! With just twenty minutes you can get a serious burn and a good sweat on. It’s compact, lightweight, and can be packed in seconds. I’ve tried various exercises and it works well, so read on to find out the Tarroband full review including unboxing and guided workouts so you’ll familiarize yourself with it before buying.

Unboxing The Torroband

The Torroband comes in a small compact box. When I opened it, I noticed straight away the quality of the resistance bands which seemed sturdy and felt tough. The cable handles have a grippy texture which is ideal for those who get sweaty palms. Inside the box, you’ll get:

  • 4 bands included (40lbs, 60lbs, 70lbs, 80lbs)
  • Door anchor
  • Ankle strap for leg workouts
  • 2 x patented anti-slip handles
  • Travel bag

A big attraction for me from this device is that it can all fit in a small travel bag which means I can pack it in my backpack or gym bag and take it with me to work out with the Torroband wherever I go.

However, It’s a shame that it doesn’t come with user manuals but the setup itself is pretty self-explanatory… Plus I’ll show you how to set it up anyways!

When using bands you are practicing variable resistance training (VRT) which means the resistance you feel when doing bicep curls, for example, changes as you perform a movement through its full range of motion. Research suggests that VRT offers greater stimulus than traditional free-weight resistance training to increase strength and power.

Torroband Features

The Torroband resistance band provides a unique edge over its competitors in that they provide features such as its triple-layer cloth, patented grip handles, and a door anchor. This allows you to do gym exercises such as chest presses, bicep curls, tricep push-downs, lunges, squats, and many more.

There are four bands included in the package and they provide a combined resistance of 350 lbs. These bands are made with premium quality butyl rubber and come in four levels of resistance: 40 lbs, 60 lbs, 70 lbs, and 80 lbs. This is great for all fitness levels as you can personalize your workouts according to your fitness level. Each band has two ends attached to a beautiful orange heavy-duty rope stitched with the resistance level label.

The handlebars offer a non-slip feature which helped me to maintain a firm and comfortable grip whilst working out. I’m not exaggerating when I say I get sweaty hands and that I have to use chalk all the time when practicing pull-ups. But with these grips, no chalk is needed.

The carabiner hooks attached to the handles offer an aesthetic look to the overall setup. The black coating has a unique design in comparison to other standard hooks, and it can accommodate up to 350 lbs of resistance.

The door anchor supplied with the Torrobands has a soft foam stopper so it’s easier on your door unlike the hard plastic stoppers on some door anchors. With this, you’ll have a variety of anchoring options from the top, bottom, and side of the door frame giving you the ability to work for your muscle groups at all angles.

If you’re worried that you might not be able to train your legs completely then think again because the package also includes ankle attachments that allow you to train an even broader range of lower body exercises such as hamstring curls and single leg abduction and adductions.

The Torroband gives you access to a variety of workouts to make your sessions as efficient as possible with the aim of building muscle without using weights. I like to use it at home when the weather gets bad outside. If you’re a beginner to fitness I’d highly recommend starting with resistance band training.

Now let’s talk about the negatives of the Torroband resistance bands. One of the main drawbacks of this is that it does not come with a bar which means I’m restricted to using handlebars and missing out on barbell squats and barbell bicep curls.

I’m also disappointed that the Torroband doesn’t come with instructions or a basic workout program therefore some of us may have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to assemble it and what exercises can be done with this machine.

There’s a similar device that uses resistance bands attached to handles and it also comes with a retractable bar which I’ve used. You can check out our Redge Fit unboxing and product review to achieve greater versatility in your workouts. In my opinion, the Redge Fit is the perfect complement to the Torroband.

Review of The Buying Process & Shipping

The buying process of the Torroband was seamless. As I live in London, United Kingdom, the international delivery took a little longer, but the wait was worth it. Emails and messages were sent to me to keep me informed on the shipping process.

If you’re in the States, then expect fast delivery as I saw a Torroband review saying the shipping took 48 hours which is faster than some Amazon orders.

Torroband Quality

I have used several different resistance band manufacturers and I’ll have to admit that the Torroband has top-notch quality. It’s a well-built, rugged, solid piece of workout gear. The shining factors for me are the straps and handles as they feel good in my hands and I know they’re built to last.

Torroband Comfort

Did you ever have to urge to stop your workout because your hands were hurting because of calluses being formed from lifting weights in the gym? I’ve found that the Torroband-engineered handles are not only durable but also have helped me to train hard without slipping, regardless of the amount of sweat I have on my palms (which, by the way, is a lot).

Thanks to its compact design, I can store the Torroband in my backpack and do a full-body workout wherever I want. The portability of this device is great for those who are always traveling which means that you’ll have no excuses to not work out!

Torroband Workouts

Now that you are familiarized with the Torroband, here are workout examples you can do using a push/pull/leg split. FAQs

How Does The Torroband Work?

The Torroband is a training system that utilizes heavy-duty resistance bands attached to patented non-slip grip handles. Choose any level of resistance (40lbs, 60lbs, 70lbs, and 80lbs) according to your fitness level. For more workout combinations you can attach the bands to the door anchor or ankle straps.

Can I Grow Muscle With The Torroband?

You can grow muscles using the Tarroband. For your muscles to grow they need tension, recovery, nutrition, and progressive overload which is achievable as the package comes with four levels of resistance bands. In fact, a 2019 study suggests that elastic training devices provide similar strength gains in comparison to resistance training performed on conventional devices.

What Are Torroband Resistance Bands Good For?

The Torroband is great for getting in shape and building muscle wherever you are, which could be at home, in the park, or when you travel. It’s small, lightweight, and easy to carry around. Resistance bands are an excellent way to start developing strength and range of motion as they put less pressure on your joints.

How To Hook The Door Anchor?

Place the door anchor on top of the door frame with the strap sliding through. Gently close the door and make sure the anchor stays behind the door.

Torrobands: Final Thoughts

The Torro bands offer versatility to my home workouts. They’re convenient,  lightweight and you can take them with you anywhere. They can target all muscle groups at different angles if you change the location of the door anchor. Full-body workouts are a breeze, including leg training, and you can increase the intensity by adding more resistance on top. Also, they have a sturdy construction and I’m sure they’ll last me a very long time.
