At Gymless, the last thing we want you to do is waste your money on another low-quality piece of fitness equipment manufactured by the lowest bidder on Alibaba on Wish.com. More than anything else, we value quality and durability when evaluating fitness gear because, honestly, we’ve seen a lot of junk flood the home fitness market over the past few years.

That’s why we were skeptical when we first caught wind of DMoose—it’s got a bit of an odd-sounding name and, until recently, I hadn’t seen anyone rocking DMoose fitness gear at the gym before. Fortunately, my doubts were put to rest once I got my hands on their equipment. After a few workout sessions using their belts, bands, gloves, and rings, it was clear that this brand is the real deal.

Plus, they offer a sweet 20% discount to veterans, first responders, public sector employees, and K-12 teachers—not bad, huh?

If you’re looking for an honest and impartial DMoose review, look no further. Read on to find out what we honestly think of this fitness equipment brand, and to see which products we think you’re better off grabbing off DMoose than some of its cheaper competitors.

DMoose Reviews, Ratings, and Testimonials

There are already a few DMoose reviews floating around online, as well as plenty of customer testimonials that vouch for the quality of DMoose’s products. Let’s take a quick glance at some of the user reviews and existing ratings available for DMoose.

  • Facebook: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.2 /5 Stars) [Profile]
  • ReviewMeta: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5 /5 Stars) [Review]
  • Amazon Average Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.6 /5 Stars) [Profile]
  • TrustPilot: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ [Profile]
  • Judge.me: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Based on 31,000+ aggregated reviews) [Profile]
  • GarageGymReviews: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.4 /5 Stars) [Review]
  • FakeSpot: <10% Unreliable Reviews [Profile]
  • ScamAdvisor: Perfect 10/10 Trustworthiness [Profile]
  • DWYM: 3rd Place out of 11 [Review]

Overall, DMoose averages above 4.5 stars on a 5-star review scale. Not bad at all! Better yet, the vast majority of the user reviews on Amazon and elsewhere are verified as authentic. In today’s marketing environment, many brands spend a lot of money to fabricate reviews. Sometimes over half of a company’s reviews are faked. According to ScamAdvisor, less than 10% of DMoose’s reviews cannot be verified as authentic or unpaid.

DMoose: Company Information and History

For some reason, DMoose’s website doesn’t disclose much about its history, founders, or even where their products are manufactured. That came across as a bit of a red flag. So, I did some digging around to discover more about what’s going on behind the scenes at this company.

The company’s LinkedIn profile states that the company is based in Buffalo, Wyoming. Founded in 2019, the company has grown into a sizable firm with “11 to 50” employees—again, according to its LinkedIn listing. There, we were able to pull up information about its management team, which currently includes the following individuals.

Mussayab Ehtesham (Owner & CEO)

Mussayab Ehtesham is a Canadian engineer based in Windsor, Ontario, who founded DMoose in July 2019 and has served as President ever since. Ehtesham has 8 years of experience in the engineering field, having served as a Project Manager and Project Mechanical Engineer at several Canadian companies. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical and materials engineering from the University of Western Ontario, which he received in 2011.

In our books, Ehtesham’s engineering background is a huge asset. Knowing how to engineer an excellent product doesn’t come naturally—it takes considerable know-how, creativity, and an eye for innovation to create a competitive product in the fitness industry.

Umair Haroon (Chief of Operations)

Next in command is Umair Haroon, who joined DMoose early in its development, in November 2018, as Chief of Operations. Mr. Haroon holds an MBA with a specialization in international marketing as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He brings to the table more than a decade of experience as a sales manager in the private sector before joining DMoose.

Brian Williams (Marketing Consultant)

A recent addition to the team, Brian Williams joined DMoose in July 2022 as a marketing consultant and he appears to play a major role in the company’s marketing operations. Prior to joining DMoose, Mr. Williams had over 17 years of experience as a self-employed marketing professional and acquired a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Cal State Fullerton.

DMoose Product Quality and Hands-on Review

DMoose carries a wide variety of fitness and calisthenics-related products on its online store. We couldn’t get our hands on every product in their catalogue, but we were able to test out several of their popular ones to get a feel for the kind of quality we can expect from DMoose.

DMoose Neck Harness ($19.99)

For starters, we tested out DMoose’s exclusive neck harness. Although it looks a bit funny, it’s an extremely useful tool for training neck muscles such as the levator scapulae and the sternocleidomastoid, which are notoriously difficult to target indirectly through compound exercises.

What I like most about this harness compared to some of its competitors, such as the Iron Neck (which we reviewed here), is that it strikes the perfect balance between weight and comfort. It weighs probably one pound (excluding the chain) and has tons of padding around the chin and temple so that the fabric doesn’t dig into your head, even if there’s 50 pounds loaded on it.

Like all DMoose products, it comes with a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. So, if you’re not happy with the way it fits on your head, you can send it back for a full refund. Some of the exercises that I really enjoyed doing with this product include the following:

  • Lying neck extensions on a bench
  • Standing neck rotations
  • Standing neck flexion
  • Standing neck extension

DMoose Ab Roller ($99.99)

At first, we were skeptical about a one hundred dollar ab roller. Considering you can find these products for one fifth of the price, we knew that DMoose had to knock it out of the park if we were going to get our money’s worth. But at the end of the day, we think that this product is worth every penny for competitive athletes and advanced fitness enthusiasts.

This product is clearly the work of founder Mussayab Ehtesham, who is a mechanical engineer, as it reimagines how an ab roller operates. It includes large pads for the elbows next to either side of the wheel, and soft hand grips in front of the wheel. The result is that performing abdominal exercises with this wheel is 10 times more comfortable than your standard wheel.

After a long session with a cheap ab wheel, your hands might even go numb. With this ab roller, you can perform a dozen sets or more without having your hands or elbows fatigue. Instead, the only part of your body that burns is your abs—which is exactly what you want!

Ab rollers don’t have much versatility. They’re essentially useful for a single, yet highly effective exercise: ab rollouts. However, here are a few other complementary exercises you can hit with the DMoose ab roller:

Forearm & Wrist Strengthener ($48.99)

Dedicated wrist and forearm training is scientifically proven to build size and strength in this hard-to-target body part. So why not include it in your training routine?

The DMoose-branded forearm and wrist strengthening device costs a pretty penny but it more than makes up for its price by offering a ton of utility and versatility. Fair warning—this thing is going to burn like hell if you use it as intended. Rolling a weight from top to bottom, and then back up again with your arms held straight in front of you is sure to get your wrists and forearms pumped and in a world of pain.

Although the device doesn’t come with weights, you can easily clip on any number of standard plates to add resistance to your workout. This exercise is seriously underrated if you want to be a better all-around athlete. Whether you’re a martial artist, weightlifter, rock climber, or just want to school your friends in an arm wrestling match, a forearm strengthener is what you need.

Unlike some of the cheaper products on the market, the DMoose forearm strengthener is durable. You can hook multiple 45-pound plates to this thing and it will still hold, and the nylon rope won’t even show any signs of strain. Plus, the handles are made of sweat-resistant PVC, so even soaked handles won’t be a problem during your sets.

If you really want to learn how to get the most value out of your DMoose equipment, I strongly recommend booking a consultation with one of our elite fitness coaches. Not only will they provide you with a personalized fitness and diet plan, but also teach you how to safely and effectively use your at-home workout equipment.

DMoose Resistance Band and Tube Set ($34.99)

Looking for an all-in-one home gym? If you need to hit a full body workout on the go or don’t have time to hit the gym, you can hit every major muscle group simply by doing a resistance band routine using a full DMoose set.

I’ve used a lot of resistance bands over the years, and these ones are right up there among the very best. Although advanced lifters aren’t going to be able to perform heavy squat or deadlift sets with these bands, they provide more than enough resistance for beginners, novices, intermediates, or anyone who wants to get a quick pump on.

Here are some of my favorite exercises to perform with the DMoose resistance band set:

DMoose Premium Hanging Ab Straps ($38.99)

The problem with most ab straps on the market is that they’re flimsy, thin, and tend to dig into your arms and irritate your skin if you hang on them for too long. To my surprise, DMoose’s premium ab straps let you hang for minutes at a time without causing any noticeable discomfort. In fact, I weigh close to 200 pounds, and I was able to bang out sets of 20 leg raises without feeling any unwanted tension in my elbows or forearms.

I hang these straps using a simple carabiner from the door frame chinup bar in my house. Then, I slide my elbows inside and grab the tops of the straps with my hands. From there, I’m able to do knee tucks and leg raises to target my oblique muscles and abdominals without swaying or cheating. It’s truly a unique burn that feels far more effective than regular crunches.

What I like most about this product is that it lets you hit your side obliques with far greater intensity than basically every other ab exercise. Bicycle crunches will only get you so far, and oblique raises on a chin up bar will eventually cause you to let go as your grip fails. Being locked into the ab straps makes sure that you can keep performing reps until you’ve completely exhausted your core.

The product is made of thickly stitched neoprene, so there’s no need to worry about tears or breaks in the material. Although the carabiners could be a bit larger, I’m happy that the strabs come with a pair so you can easily hook them onto just about any hanging bar.

DMoose Whey Protein Isolate ($34.99)

If you work out most days of the week, your body needs ample nutrition to repair damaged issues and regrow your muscle tissue after the fascia breaks during your workouts. Personally, I’ve always preferred to drink whey isolate shakes after my workouts, and sometimes added to my oatmeal in the mornings during breakfast. This ensures that I always get enough protein in my daily diet.

When I saw that DMoose’s 2-pound container of whey isolate, which by definition contains very little fats or sugars, only cost $35 on sale, I was skeptical. Most reputable brands list their whey isolate for 15-50% more than DMoose does. To be totally honest, the price difference was obvious in the taste difference. This brand does taste slightly chalkier than premium brands.

However, the protein content (26g per serving) is incredible given its rock solid amino acid profile. Whereas many brands spike their protein supplements with amino acids to artificially raise the nominal protein concentration, this brand does none of that. And that’s excellent news, because we know that all 26 grams of protein per serving contain the building blocks needed to nourish our muscles.

DMoose Booty Building Bundle ($84.99)

This is the ultimate at-home package for glute development. If you’re interested in building influencer-tier glutes that will look great in any outfit, I highly recommend using resistance bands, ankle straps, hip circles, and squat pads in your training. Fortunately, this promo package contains all of these items bundled at a reasonable price.

To target your glutes properly, you can’t stick to kickbacks and squats. For a well-rounded (pun intended) and strong posterior, exercise diversification is needed. You need a healthy variety of straps, bands, and weights to sufficiently stimulate all three components of the glutes: the gluteus maximus, the gluteus medius, and the gluteus minimus.

This bundle packs everything you need to hit those major muscle groups. They’re comfortable, durable, color-coded, and feel natural between your legs and around your ankles. Although I found them a bit stiff in the beginning, after a solid workout the material laxed up and I was able to squat deep and lunge freely while using the set.

The Booty Building Bundle comes with the following premium-grade items, all of which I tested out in my home gym and, with the sole exception of the ankle straps which were slightly too thin for my thick ankles (at nearly 200 lbs. bodyweight), I can unreservedly vouch for each of them:

  • Ankle straps
  • Hip circle
  • Squat pad (for squats and glute bridges)
  • Full resistance band set

DMoose Discounts, Coupon Codes, and Promos

Since we’re not a paid partner of DMoose, we unfortunately don’t have any promotional codes to share with our readers. To our knowledge, DMoose doesn’t even produce any promo codes for third parties. Instead, they offer standard deals to all their customers and don’t partner with external companies.

For example, DMoose offers free shipping on all orders over 49 USD. Their website doesn’t mention the need to return the product, either, so you may even be able to keep it after getting your refund.

If you want to time your purchase around a major sale, I recommend placing your order around Black Friday and to use the code BLACKFRIDAY to get 20% off all orders sitewide.

Military Family, First Responder, and K-12 Teacher Discount

One thing I truly love about this brand is that they offer a whopping 20% discount to current and former U.S. military veterans, their spouses and immediate family members. Better yet, they extend this generous offer to American K-12 school teachers, federal and state employees, and first responders including police officers, firefighters, and parademics.

To redeem this special discount, DMoose lets you sign in to your GovX account to authenticate your employment or veteran status. Once verified, all orders will reflect a 20% discount at checkout.

What Real Customers Have to Say About DMoose

Whether it’s on Facebook, Trustpilot, or the official DMoose website, there are tons of verified buyer reviews and testimonials that can vouch to the quality of these products. At the same time, there are a select few that offer some critiques or complaints. Below, we’ve compiled both types of customer reviews to give you a balanced view of what to expect from DMoose.

Rodney, March 2022

Cesar, November 2022

Larz, July 2021

In sum, the verified reviews of DMoose are mostly glowing. Most customers have nothing but good things to say about DMoose. While I did find a few lukewarm reviews, such as Larz’ above, they were almost always directed at the restock or shipping times rather than the quality of the products themselves.

DMoose Money Back Guarantee

There are a lot of shady companies in the fitness industry. They tend to come and go every few years as shoppers discover that they aren’t cut out for the market and subsequently drop them.

The good news is that DMoose isn’t one of these companies. With a 30-day money back guarantee, you can receive a full refund for any product that doesn’t meet quality standards or that you aren’t fully satisfied with.

Want to return your product? DMoose gives you a 30-day window to return products free of charge. In other words, any purchase from DMoose is essentially risk-free.

Bottom Line: Do We Recommend DMoose?

In short, yes, we enthusiastically recommend DMoose’s products to our readers. In a market saturated with cheap, Chinese-made fitness products that you’ll be lucky to get a year out of, DMoose packages premium-quality products built to last multiple years—all at an affordable price point.
